Why We Started
NOIR & NOPAL
This cart wasn’t born out of trend, it was born out of intention. As a family, we wanted to create something that honored our roots, carried our culture forward, and gave Los Angeles a fresh way to gather.
NOIR & NOPAL is our way of blending hospitality and heritage. We believe food should bring people together, ease the stress of hosting, and leave guests smiling long after the night ends. Every cart is crafted to feel effortless, personal, and filled with flavor, because that’s the kind of experience we’d want for our own celebrations.

It’s a love letter to our kids, our roots, and the cultures that shaped us.
NOIR reflects our African American and Hawaiian heritage ~ elegance, depth, and soul.
NOPAL speaks to our Mexican culture ~ resilience, flavor, and tradition.
Together, they represent the blend that makes our family who we are. And now, it’s the flavor we’re bringing to events across Los Angeles.
What started as just a lil cactus and a dream grew into a cart built by hand, by heart, and by family. Every gathering we serve carries that same intention.
